A refundable deposit of $6,000 per person is required to confirm your reservation. If traveling as a single occupant a $12,000 refundable deposit is required. All major credit cards accepted for deposit. Final payment is due by Feb. 1, 2018.

Apr. 04 - Tokyo

Arrive in Tokyo and transfer to hotel. (D)

Apr. 05 - Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will visit the cherry blossoms and view the Imperial Palace and National Parliament. In the afternoon we continue the tour with a visit to the Meiji Shrine. BL

Apr. 06 - Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel. Our tour today includes the Edo Museum, one of Tokyo's most imaginative and interesting museums it traces life Tokyo known as Edo until 1868. After visiting the museum, we will enjoy a river cruise to Tokyo Bay. We will also tour the Asakusa Temple - Tokyo's most sacred and spectacular temple. BLD

Apr. 07 - Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the Tokyo National Museum and the cherry blossoms at Ueno Park. Dinner on your own. B

Apr. 08 - Tokyo/Mount Fuji/Fuji Lake

Breakfast at the hotel. We will then leave for Mount Fuji.  In the afternoon we will tour a traditional Japanese Village and then transfer to our Fuji lakeside traditional Japanese Hotel and thermal spa. We will enjoy a special hosted Japanese dinner. BLD

Apr. 09 - Fuji Lake/Hakone/Fuji Lake

Breakfast at the hotel. We will tour Hakone featuring a cruise on Lake Ashinoko.  After lunch will time to relax along the lakeside before our hosted dinner. BLD

Apr. 10 - Fuji Lake/Osaka

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we take the "Bullet Train to Osaka with lunch on the train. After arriving in Osaka we will tour the beautiful Osaka Castle and grounds. BD 

Apr. 11 - Osaka

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will tour Osaka including famous Namba district and Dotonbori Walk. B

Apr. 12 - Osaka/Kyoto

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we leave Kyoto with stops at Nijo Castle famous for its unusually ornate interiors and so-called nightingale floors, the Golden Temple, Nanzen-ji Temple featuring its five great Zen temples and finally Sanjusangen-do Temple housing the 1,001 goddess of mercy. BLD

Apr. 13 - Kyoto

Breakfast at the hotel. We will spend the day exploring the ancient capital of Kyoto beginning with a visit to the Arashiyama district which holds a special place in the hearts of the Japanese. At its center is the graceful "moon-crossing" bridge. North of the bridge, mountainsides thickly forested with cherries and pines drop steeply to the river. After our time in the district we will continue to explore Kyoto with a stroll along the Gion Walk, the best-known geisha quarter, and then to the Nishiki Market Alley - nicknamed "Kyoto's Kitchen." This evening we will enjoy a special Maiko dinner show. BLD

Apr. 14 - Kyoto

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we continue our tour of Kyoto with visits to the Kiyomizu-dera Temple to view its 11-headed Kanon image, the Big Buddha Temple, a World Heritage Site featuring the Buddha in the largest wooded building in the world. The Big Buddha Temple or Todai-ji Temple is surrounded by the famous Nara deer park. BL

Apr. 15 - Kyoto/Osaka

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will transfer back to Osaka to spend some time at its famous shopping districts before transferring to the airport for our flights back to the US.
