Port highlights

Florence, Italy

Florence is most noted as the birthplace of the Renaissance. Highlights include impressive piazzas and an incomparable 15th-century skyline - sure to offer charm and an unforgettable experience to any visitor.

Barcelona, Spain

People from all around the world enjoy visiting this city for its individuality, cultural interest and physical beauty. When Hans Christian Andersen visited in 1862, he remarked that Barcelona was the "Paris of Spain" -  you are  likely to agree. The city is a major cultural center with a fascinating history. Everywhere are archives, libraries, museums and buildings of interest - plus superb examples of modernist and Art Nouveau décor and architecture.

Malaga, Spain

A bustling coastal city and the capital of Costa del Sol, Malaga is the second largest port in Spain. One of the most interesting places to explore is the old historic quarter, which dates back nearly 800 years. The birthplace of Pablo Picasso, Malaga boasts miles of beautiful beaches, picturesque gardens and fantastic weather.

Gibraltar, United Kingdom

Located at the southernmost tip of Europe, the Rock of Gibraltar is literally between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Its unique location has played a pivotal role in history, as

countries fought for control over this busy seaport.

Cartagena, Spain

One of Spain’s most historically fascinating places, Cartagena's fabulous natural harbor has been used for thousands of years. From the battlements of the castle that overlook this city you can literally see layer upon layer of history spread below you: the wharf where Phoenician traders docked their ships; the street where Roman legionaries marched; and the plaza that once housed a mosque where Islamic Spain prayed to Allah. Cartagena’s extensive network of pedestrian streets and lovely waterfront make it an eminently enjoyable city to visit.

Ibiza, Spain

An island in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of Spain, Ibiza is too often synonymous with world-famous mega-clubs, which are the summertime meccas for so many celebrities and DJs. However, Ibiza is also one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful islands-Ibiza Town is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site-with mystical islets and hidden coves that beg to be explored.

There are few places on earth with the magnificence of the ancient city of Rome. Whether it is the Forum, the Sistine Chapel, the Pantheon or St. Peter's Basilica that sparks your interest and intellect, Rome is home to a lifetime's worth of historical, architectural and spiritual sites.
