    Arrive in Bucharest, capital of Romania, where you are met by your Dignity Travel group host, transferred to your hotel and assisted with check-in.

    We tour the city of Bucharest today – visit the Palace of the Parliament, University of Bucharest, Revolution Square, Victoriei Square and the Village Museum.

    Today we enjoy a day trip to visit Constanta city. Situated on the Black Sea coast, the city originates from Roman times and is now home to a rich and multi-ethnic culture. After visiting Constanta we will delight in a wine tasting in one of the biggest vineries in Romania.

  • Bucharest Sep. 09

    We will discover the art and architecture of Bucharest today as we visit at the National Museum of Romanian Art, located in the former Royal Palace in Bucharest. It includes the National Gallery (Romanian medieval and modern art) and the European Art Gallery. Afterwards, we will enjoy some free time to explore the city and shopping.

  • Bucharest/Brasov Sep. 10

    Today we will enjoy a scenic drive to Brasov with a stop to visit the Peles Castle – one of the most attractive landmarks of Romania. The fairytale-like aspect, the natural setting at the base of Carpathians, the story of Romanian Royal family, and the fact it was world’s first castle fully powered by locally produced electricity makes it unique and a “must see” in Romania. We will also visit the Cantacuzino Castle before checking-in to our hotel in Brasov.

    Today we discover Bran Castle – home to the infamous Count Dracula. After a garden tour of the castle, we will enjoy a guided tour of the Old Centre of Brasov. Its Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture will fascinate you along with its welcoming citizens.

    Today we enter a medieval mood by visiting two fortified Saxon churches, one of them part of the UNESCO World Heritage. We will then tour the most famous resort in Romania – Poiana Brasov. Lunch will be served in Romanian traditional style.

    Enjoy your fee day to explore the city, do some shopping, read at a local café, or just to relax at the hotel’s pool.

  • Brasov/Sighisoara/Cluj Napoca Sep. 14

    We depart Brasov today for Cluj Napoca but first, we will visit Sighisoara, the only inhabited medieval citadel in South Eastern Europe, part of UNESCO heritage. We will then enjoy the beautiful landscapes on our way to the next hotel in Cluj Napoca.

    Today we discover the amazing Salt Mine of Turda. You will feel better after this visit, because the mine is said to be good for your breathing, throat and lungs.

    After a city tour of Cluj Napoca we depart on a scenic drive to Sibiu with a stop to visit Alba Iulia – where you will fall in love with this Roman Fortress, Medieval City and the town where Romania proclaimed The Great Union, in 1918. We will then check-in at our 4-star hotel in Sibiu.

    Today your local English-speaking guide will take you through the old center of Sibiu to discover the beautiful multicultural heritage – Brukenthal Museum, Orthodox Cathedral, Catholic Cathedral, Hungarian Catholic Church, and the Synagogue.

    We will enjoy an authentic Romanian day as we visit the Astra Museum of Traditional Folk Civilization (Open Air Museum). You will learn traditional pottery techniques, folk dances, and taste some traditional food – cheese, jams and of course our Tzuica ( a traditional drink made from plums).

  • Sibiu/Bucharest Sep. 19

    We depart Sibiu for Bucharest today via a scenic ride through the beautiful Olt Valley where you can admire Olt Gorges. We will enjoy a short stop at Cozia Monastery, with more than 600 years of history before arriving to our Bucharest hotel.
