Begin the day exploring the port city of Casablanca, Morocco’s largest metropolis and its commercial hub. Visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, which accommodates up to 25,000 worshippers – its minaret stands as the tallest religious structure in the world. We will discover the Ain Diab Oceanside promenade.

Travel to the Moorish city of Rabat, capital of Morocco, to visit the Mohammed V Mausoleum, dedicated to the founder of modern Morocco, grandfather of the current king. View the Moresque-style Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah, along with its scenic Andalusian garden. Continue to Fes where we will check-in to the deluxe accessible hotel and enjoy dinner.

Today we will venture in the medina with our local guide to discover the narrow streets lined with fresh fruits, mounds of spices and intricately woven Berber carpets. The medina is one of the world’s largest walled cities. After enjoying a traditional lunch in the heart of the medina, we will visit the gates of the King’s Palace.

Journey overland to explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to some of the best preserved Roman ruins in North Africa. With its triumphal arches, basilicas and capitals, the Volubilis skyline brims with iconic examples of Roman architecture.

We continue are exploration of Fez today along with a visit beautiful countryside and visit the local craftsman.

We depart Fez today for the Sahara Desert. We will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and then descend to the Saharan side of Morocco. Our journey will take us though beautiful forests, jagged rock faces and Berber villages. Upon our arrival in the desert we will trek out to the oasis where we will spend the night in accessible Berber tents among the sand dunes.
