Arrive in Zurich and transfer from the airport to your 5-star accessible hotel in the city center. The hotel is located near shopping and dining and features air-conditioning, in house restaurant and an Asia Spa.

  • Zurich Jun. 29

Today we will tour the beautiful city of Zurich which lies at the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland, a global center for banking and finance. The picturesque lanes of the central Old Town, on either side of the Limmat River, reflect its pre-medieval history. Waterfront promenades follow the river toward the 17th-century town hall. Permanently settled for around 2,000 years, Zurich has a history that goes back to its founding by the Romans. Today Zurich is the largest Swiss city with approximately 400.000 inhabitants.

  • Zurich/Rhinefalls/Constance/Zurich Jun. 30

We depart the city for the day to explore the natural wonders of eastern Switzerland. Our first stop is the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen, which fascinates visitors with its great water volume and provides a magnificent spectacle. Across a width of 492 feet and a height of more than 75 feet a magnificent amount of water plunges over the falls in the summer. An adventure path – with elevator – goes from Laufen Castle to the outlook platforms and enables an unobstructed view of this spectacle of nature. After our visit to the falls, we will continue along Lake Constance before arriving in St. Gall. After a short sightseeing stroll we will visit St. Gall’s Abbey Library. This Library is one of the oldest and most beautiful in the world. The origins of the library date back to the 8th-century, and many of its 160,000 priceless texts are nearly that old.

  • Zurich/Lucerne Jul. 01

We leave behind Zurich today as we continue our Swiss tour to picturesque Lucerne. Upon our arrival, we will see some of the attractions this gateway to central Switzerland has to offer. The city is situated on Lake Lucerne and is embedded within an impressive mountainous panorama. Thanks to its attractions, its souvenir and watch shops, the beautiful lakeside setting and the nearby excursion mountains of the Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn, the town is a must see destination.

  • Lucerne/Mt. Pilatus/Lucerne Jul. 02

Today we will take the world’s steepest railway up the Pilatus Mountain. Maker of weather, dragon’s lair, home to giants and grave of rulers: Lucerne’s very own mountain, Pilatus, is one of the most legendary places in Central Switzerland. And one of the most beautiful. On a clear day, the mountain offers a panoramic view of 73 Alpine peaks. The mountain, which towers above the region with its more than 6,300-foot height, indubitably captures the imagination. Even today Pilatus is a source of mystical discoveries and is home to places of natural beauty that are steeped in legend and lore.

  • Lucerne/Entlebuch/Lucerne Jul. 03

The day starts with a trip to Entlebuch. Seemingly endless moorlands, craggy karst formations and wild mountain streams make for special experiences and views. Switzerland’s first biosphere reserve offers natural beauty at its finest. Almost no other region in Switzerland has as many natural treasures as the “Wild West” of Lucerne. It is no wonder that Entlebuch was designated by UNESCO as the first biosphere reserve in Switzerland. Within the worldwide network of biosphere reserves, Entlebuch represents pre-Alpine moorland and karst landscapes. Switzerland is also famous for biscuits and cheese. After our time in Entlebuch, we will visit the village of Kambly in the Emmental region. Kambly, the producer of the best-known and most popular fine biscuits in Switzerland, welcomes its visitors to the Kambly Experience. In the Visitor Centre we will discover the secrets of the art of biscuit making. We will also discover how the world famous Emmental cheese is made.
